I liked air conditioned and reasonably large room here.
Location: the hotel was very close to the north-wast 4 lakes of Kawaguchiko and restaurants around lake Kawaguchiko. Booked a room with astonishing views of lake.

I had a such wonderful stay here and will be back. This place was wonderful relaxing for one night. Location: the hotel was near the Shibazakura Festival and public transport and the bus line. It also was to Kawaguchiko lake;))

We really enjoyed our stay at Yamadaya. The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was incredible, especially when we relaxed in the onsen. The hotel's location is perfect, with all the rooms facing the lake and Fujisan. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the futons were the most comfortable we've had in Japan. The Japanese dinner and breakfast provided by the hotel were absolutely amazing. We highly recommend Yamadaya for a memorable stay.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

Absolutely stunning views, really enjoyed stunning and particularly good setting.
The room we had included central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a fridge. Every staff member was pretty friendly. Location: the hotel was close enough to restaurants, a viewpoint, and the nearest bus stop.

The views were absolutely mind-blowing, straight out of a postcard! The private onsen with a jaw-dropping view of Mount Fuji at night and in the morning was just superb. The traditional Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were of generous portions and tasted AMAZING. The room, although basic, was spacious and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, with some English-speaking abilities. Hiking maps were available at the reception. Definitely recommend taking the package with food, as there are limited food options in the area. Can't wait to visit again!

The food for breakfast could have been better, but everything else was great.

The meals at Yamadaya were absolutely incredible, both breakfast and dinner. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We also loved the traditional atmosphere of the room, complete with a tea set and yukatas. The view from our window was breathtaking and the onsen on the rooftop was the perfect way to relax. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly amazing experience.
